As we begin this school year, I want to emphasize one of the most important factors in student success is being at school every day and being ready to learn before the 8:20 a.m. bell. Students who arrive late are not simply missing a few minutes—they may miss the opening lesson, directions, important announcements, opportunities to ask questions, and the chance to begin the day successfully with their classmates. We are seeing too many students arriving after the bell, and we need your partnership to change this.
Please help your student establish a morning routine that allows them to arrive on campus, get to class, and be ready to learn before 8:20 a.m.
