Things you can begin working on during your freshman year:

  • Get involved in extracurricular activities! Central has hundreds of sports & clubs that you can join. If none work for you, you can even start your own!
  • Develop some good study habits! You may have heard that your grades don’t count freshman year, but we promise this is NOT true. Any class you fail, you have to make up later. So start out your high school career strong!
  • Meet your counselors before the end of the year! We are a great resource to help you with your academics, social and emotional struggles, career ideas, or to just be your cheerleader!
