Principal's Newsletter for February 2026: Upcoming Testing, Trojan Wellness Clinic, Substance Abuse and more

As we begin the year together, we are excited to continue partnering with you to support the academic growth and well-being of every student. A strong start to the year sets the tone for success, and we are committed to providing engaging instruction, meaningful support, and high expectations that help our students grow as learners and as individuals. We truly value the role families play in this work, and your partnership makes a powerful difference in our school community.
As we look ahead to the spring, regular attendance remains one of the most important factors in student success—especially as our high school students prepare for the PSAT and SAT assessments in April. Being in class every day allows students to build on skills, participate in critical discussions, and receive targeted instruction that directly supports these assessments and their long-term college and career readiness. We appreciate your help in encouraging consistent attendance and punctuality so that our students are fully prepared and confident when assessment season arrives.
Please note: Friday, Feb. 6 is now a regular school day. (The Professional Release Day was moved to this Friday, January 30). Friday, February 6 will now be a regular school day, and students should plan to attend as usual.
