Music

All music classes are electives and students wishing to participate in music can find a class to meet their needs, whether or not they have had any formal music training. Non-performance classes that are available to students include beginning instruments, beginning piano, and beginning guitar. Performance classes that are available include choir, band, jazz ensemble, and orchestra. It is the aim of the music department to broaden music course offerings so that nonperforming students, as well as those students who traditionally select these classes, may participate.

Theatre

The theatre program offers students experience to prepare themselves for study in the profession or as informed, responsible theatre audiences. Course offerings include opportunities to build self-confidence, both individually and within a group; to study acting, directing, design and stagecraft, or theatre history; and to read, view, and analyze plays.
