Meds at School
District Policy prohibits school nurses from the administration of any medication that is not provided by the student with written parent permission.
If it is necessary for a student to take prescription medication during the school day the nurse must have the original container with pharmacy label. This must be accompanied by written instructions including name of student, drug, dosage, time to be taken, and parent signature.
