Yearbook
Be in Yearbook and learn all there is to know about the publishing world. In Yearbook, you will learn to design layouts, take quality pictures, interview fellow students, write stories and be a part of a professionally published book. This class will prepare you for the publishing industry and journalism. If this is your desired major in college, then this is the class for you! In addition to all of this, you get to bond with fellow staffers and be a part of all the fun times Yearbook Production has. Ask any staff member what being a part of Yearbook is all about.
More importantly, once you are a member of our staff, you have the opportunity to go to Rocky Mountain Spirit Journalism Camp at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado (last week of July every year)!
If you are chosen to go to camp, most decisions about the upcoming yearbook are made in those 5 days at yearbook camp...ie. the design of the cover, the theme of the book, and much more. In addition to all this, you also get an opportunity to bond with your fellow staff members, as well as other schools' staff and make lifelong friends!
