APS Students Recognized for their Creative Talents

The Aurora Mental Health Center recently held its annual student art contest and show, bringing the community together for the 11th year. The creative talents of students were highlighted through this event.

Students from 28 schools and educational organizations submitted their best art pieces representing this years’ theme: What Warms Your Heart or Makes You Smile? Prizes were awarded to students in various categories.

Of the 11 winning students, four were honored from Aurora Public Schools for their highly creative art pieces. Additionally, two APS students earned the Director’s Choice Award, selected by Executive Director Randy Stith of the Aurora Mental Health Center.
